Originating from Brixton, London, I study Theatre and Performance at University of Leeds. I love everything to do with film, theatre and most of all writing, with the occasional bit of swimming thrown in for good measure. I hope to write articles that make people laugh but also make them think. To me, writing is a fun, cheap and healthier form of therapy. I hope that people have as much fun reading my articles as I do writing them, which is a lot.

Chances are you’ve been put off this article but the use of the word ‘Catholic’, but it's not all that bad, I promise. As the great Monty Python once wrote ‘ I’m a Roman Catholic and have been since before I was born, and the thing they say about  Catholics is, they’ll take you as soon as you’re warm’. Unlike the great Monty Python, Catholicism isn’t cool. And I should know - I am one.

Welcome one and all, to The 10 commandments of University. This pretty much does what it says on the tin. Stick with these and you should be all right.

Rudyard Kipling once wrote ‘East is East and West is West and never the twain shall meet.‘ But they did and for the recent decades it has been in a collision of culture, bloodshed and war.  Recently, this bloodshed spilt into Mali in East Africa and was captured on film by…VICE magazine???

We’re all human beings, and we’re all born equal, so isn’t it time we started acting like it?
